A genuinely exciting opportunity is now available for a dedicated and professional Junior Primary Teacher to join our impressive staff team. The successful Junior Primary Teacher will join our vibrant and highly valued Reception Professional Learning Team and contribute to nurturing greatness through our key pillars of growth, wellbeing, people and connections.
This is a full-time, fixed term position commencing Term 3 and ending at the completion of the 2024 School Year.
Candidates will be required to meet the following selection criteria:
- Hold a current Teacher Registration in South Australia
- Bachelor of Education in either Early Childhood or Junior Primary Education, at a minimum
- Supportive of the Reggio Emilia educational principles, inquiry-based learning
- Knowledge of the IB PYP, Early Years Learning framework (EYLF) and/or Australian Curriculum are desirable
- Ensure teaching methodologies support explicit teaching, data informed assessment, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and facilitate independent learning
- Highly focused on achieving student outcomes to develop the whole child
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and willing to contribute within a team environment
- Supportive of independent education and the School's Anglican ethos
In addition, candidates will be prepared to participate in co-curricular activities, attend School events, and use best endeavours to maintain, promote and advance the reputation and the success of the School.
The successful candidate will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid Certificate, and a Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Certificate.
