The Role:
The Junior Product Manager helps support the product development lifecycle for Streem’s suite of media intelligence products. They support the execution of the vision set by Product Strategy to the engineering team, prepare documentation and communication, and act as the voice of the product within the company. They unite business, product development, marketing, and sales to ensure successful delivery of new and existing tools, features and services.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and support senior product leadership to understand and contextualise the product roadmap and ensure feature releases meet business and product strategies.
- Supporting product leadership in the execution of the product vision and strategy.
- Collaborate with product design, engineering, and broader teams (when required) to develop innovative and intuitive features that are aligned with the wider Streem product strategy and vision.
- Communicate and document technical concepts and terminologies clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop a strong understanding of the functionalities and capabilities of Streem’s diverse product portfolio.
- Act as the voice of product by triaging and solving product-related questions for internal stakeholders within the business.
- Help support the product Go-To-Market (GTM) process through stakeholder management, internal product promotion, feature demos, product documentation, and other methods to support internal stakeholders.
- Maintain product documentation and resources to support broader sales and customer support teams.
- Other duties as determined by Streem from time to time as they relate to Product and Design.
What skills and experience you'll need:
- Australian permanent residency or be an Australian citizen.
- Previous product management experience in a startup environment.
- Understanding of the B2B SaaS business model.
- Proactive and enjoys a face-paced environment.
- Positive can-do attitude, energetic, with a keen interest in the media/technology landscape.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with prospects and clients.
- Works with other departments and builds bridges effectively.
- Has strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise important and urgent tasks.
- Ability to parse information from complex datasets to make informed decisions.
- Basic design skills for wireframing product ideas using tools like Figma.
