Aspect Personnel are working with a council in Melbourne's Northern suburbs to recruit a Junior to assist their capital works delivery team.
The role will be an initial 3 month contract.
You will be appointed to provide project support to Senior Project Managers. Projects will include the construction and upgrade of council facilities including community centres, libraries pavilions and kindergartens.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting Project Managers
- Contract administration/management
- Project planning and reporting
- Project administration
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting finances and project progress
- A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or relevant experience/qualifications
- A sound understanding of Project Management Methodology
- Previous experience managing or supporting capital works projects ideally within or for Local Government
- A solid understanding of Local Government policies and procedures
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A current driver's license
