We are currently looking for an experienced and or aspiring Project Manager to build a strong and long career in the company. With a strong pipeline of work with room for progression within the business for the right candidate.
Ideally you will have have 2-3 years' experience in a similar Project Management position or a Construction background.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Working closely with clients to achieve quality services and outcomes for all parties
- Working on a wide range of projects from maintenance single trade works to multi trade commercial projects
- Trade procurement
- Subcontractor letting and relationship management
- Developing a scope of works
- Scheduling of subcontractors
- Subcontractor policy Implementation
- Ensuring quality and safety on all projects
- Completing handover packs and receiving final sign off from clients
- Administration of Variations and PO’s
- Delivery of project within the project timeline
- Achieving monthly budgets
- Completing jobs in WIP
- Client facing role, excellent communication skills are required
About you
- Ideally you will have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Project Management position or a Construction background.
- Aspiring or experienced Project Manager looking to build a career in a broad range of Construction projects from maintenance works to commercial projects.
- Strong personal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and subcontractor’s.
- Has the ability to work in a team environment, working closely alongside other Project Managers and Construction Managers.
- The ability to work alone to self-imposed deadlines and hit end of monthly targets.
- Have a sound knowledge in excel and the ability to use inhouse program to build out quotes, project scopes and deliver projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of OH&S responsibilities, functions and practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical understanding
- Professional presentation
- Proactive with a desire to succeed within a supportive team environment
- The ability to have a bit of fun in a growing team
- A valid Australian drivers licence
- Satisfactory White/Red Card
