Junior Project Manager - Hvac

Position Overview:
The Junior Project Manager role presents an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Senior Project Managers, gaining invaluable exposure to large-scale projects and HVAC installations. The ideal candidate will either have experience as an HVAC Project Manager at a smaller tier company and is seeking advancement into larger projects, or a Site Manager eager to transition into the realm of Project Management.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of large-scale projects.
• Assist in project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management to meet project objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Support the procurement process by liaising with vendors and negotiating contracts for materials and services.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Prepare progress reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Actively participate in project meetings, providing input and contributing to problem-solving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Or HVAC trade qualified
• Prior experience in HVAC Project Management or related construction roles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software (Aconnex) and MS Office Suite highly desired
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
