SalaryFinsure is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure software releases are successful and issue free. We are Australia’s fastest growing aggregators which works to create innovative software for our mortgage brokers. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and have high attention to detail. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Familiar with web-based applications
• Ability to write basic SQL queries against a database
• Familiar with Python & JavaScript programming languages
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all forms of testing including Integration, Regression, UAT, Performance, Load/Stress, Security etc, of Legacy systems & services, according to the testing strategy and plans
- Draft test-cases & assists in defining acceptance-criteria
- Generate test scripts based on business requirements
- Create Traceability matrix from BRD, PD and Test cases.
- Create and execute both manual and automated test cases and record their outcomes
- Raise defects and track them through to resolution
- Create and maintain test-data & test-environments
Collaborate and work closely with developers & other business units
Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
