We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior RF Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of our high-quality telecommunication projects in a maternity leave contract.
Your primary focus will be the delivery of RF/Performance Monitoring services for the Site Acceptance of the greenfield and upgrade sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver RF Monitoring, Baseline Implementation and Performance Monitoring for deployment of Greenfield and Upgrade sites
- Implementing the most appropriate RF solutions to improve the network performance and meet the clients set KPI objectives
- To carry out duties as instructed and to the satisfaction of CPS Global management
- To participate in the development & maintenance of systems, tools and procedures to assist the CPS RIC with the delivery of its projects whilst maintaining the quality of our service
- To contribute to and foster a harmonious and supportive work environment with emphasis on teamwork
- To gain a better understanding of client processes
- To carry out other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Intermediate level understanding, experience, or exposure in the monitoring and optimisation of RF networks (3G/LTE/5G-NR)
- Baseline Parameters Implementation
- RAN delivery of Greenfield sites
- Assessment and analysis of network Key Performance Indicators
- Knowledge of basic scripting (ex. Excel-VB/Python), to develop tools for baseline implementation and RF optimisation, is an advantage but not a must
- The role requires the ability to interpret and analyse data and solve problems with varying degrees of complexity
