You will be based on a (circa) $50M project, in a ‘live’ environment, in Brisbane, offering an unparalleled opportunity to fast-track your HSEQ professional credentials.
Ideally you will hold a university level qualification (or be completing tertiary studies on your own time) in Safety and can demonstrate exposure to the Building and/or Construction Industry in either a safety or relevant position.
The role carries a heavy safety administration, QA, systems and reporting component so only applicants with superior communication (written and verbal), strong computer and administrative capabilities need apply.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Supporting the HSEQ Advisor in all tasks on site.
- Assisting sites and office to ready for audits and coordinate re-accreditations with relevant Authorities and stakeholders.
- Managing all relevant documentation associated with the HSEQ division including the setup of project specific folders.
- Compiling incident investigation reports plus data trend analysis.
- Supporting continual system improvement, maintaining databases, and updating of documents, SWM's, Insurances, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with internal operating standards and procedures.
- Collating monthly reports, including statistical analysis where required.
- Coordinating staff and sub-contractor training and the associated updating of applicable registers, licenses, etc.
- Assisting tender submissions and responses to HSEQ components.
