D&B are looking for a Safety Advisor who has experience in Sub-Divisions. This is a role where you will be required to be on-site. You will be working on a major project in Brisbane. You will be liaising with the Safety Manager, Construction Manager and various subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate HSE programs at the project on a daily basis.
- Ensure that all HS&E statutory obligations and requirements are met
- Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions and other safety practices and programs to assist in the growth and exceeding standards
- Knowledge of Government training polices and Indigenous Procurement
- Participating in ISO & OFSC audits.
- Executing thorough Site Comprehensive Inspections.
- Prepare reports
- Incident management
- Toolbox meetings and training with employees and subcontractors
- EHS reviews
- 3+ years experience in a similar position in the Civil/Construction or relevant industry.
- Great Team member!
- A Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety is the minimum requirement.
- Completion of ICAM or equivalent investigation training.
- Possession of a First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- A valid, current driver’s license.
- Possession of a White Card.
- High level of verbal & written communication
- Ability and willingness to work a long term contract
- Salary up to $120k + Super + Car
