As the Australian tax service team expands, we're seeking a Graduate or Junior Fund Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent entry point for those eager to delve into the world of in-house tax. You will report to the Head of Tax, receive full training, and gain a career mentor.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with senior counterparts for the accurate and efficient delivery of tax tasks.
- Prepare comprehensive tax compliance calculations using software and Excel.
- Foster seamless communication with internal teams, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk policies.
- Actively contribute to projects, participating in the testing of tax templates.
- Engage in ongoing tax training sessions, both internally and externally.
- Represent the company at various events for promotional purposes when required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Mandatory: Big 4 or top-tier training.
- Possess at least one year of experience in a tax or audit role.
- Demonstrate a clear intent to pursue CA/CPA qualifications in the future.
- Showcase a proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a history of results-oriented, detail-focused teamwork.
- Exemplify excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Specify minimum educational qualifications required.
