SalaryOur client, a well-established and respected financial services firm has an opportunity for either a CA/CPA/IPA qualified experienced Senior Tax Business Services Accountant OR a Accountant seeking to continue your career development, to join their friendly team.
This is based at their offices in Western Sydney, near Penrith, some flexibility can be discussed but it is not a hybrid or remote position.
General Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and SMSF along with Individual tax returns
- Client Management and all-round support
- Business advisory assisting our clients move through the ever-changing business and tax environment
- Business Consultancy and Business/Tax Planning
- Liaising with the ATO and other agencies as required
- Accounting qualification / CA/CPA/IPA, near completion or commencing
- Experience, including public practice experience
- Experienced in compliance, taxation, and business advisory
- Software proficient: MYOB, Xero Ledger, Xero Tax and BGL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A warm and friendly persona who will thrive in a client facing role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management, analytical, problem solving and research skills
- High attention to detail is essential to offer professional client service
- Strong decision-making skills
