Overview of the role
The Investment Senior Analyst position offers high-performing candidates the chance to build their analytical skills and expand their knowledge of private capital investments. The analyst is a critical component of the deal team and is tasked with a broad range of responsibilities including intensive involvement in learning how to evaluate investments across the capital spectrum in businesses of varying sizes operating in a range of sectors. In the Investment Analyst position, analysts have the unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully as a member of a small deal team but with the support and appetite of one of the largest banks in Korea.
Key Responsibilities
Begin gaining skills to develop relationships with peers / juniors at clients, begin understanding how to develop business opportunities
Analytical, due diligence and transactional support on transactions and business development
Reviewing financial models, conducting research and analysing industries to assist senior team members
Loan Documentation Review
Write credit reports in Korean
Other ad hoc businesses and transaction requirements such as preparing monthly IB report, loan asset management and scheduling
Preferred Skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and fluency in Korean is preferred
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or Law preferred
Other qualifications may be considered subject to demonstrating genuine interest in Finance
Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting
Preferably certificate holder related with finance, account (CPA, CFA, FRM, etc)
High competency in Microsoft applications
Ability to take initiative and function well within a team
Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct
Hours of Work
9AM to 5:30PM, 7.5 hours of work
Flexible and negotiable with regard to your school/test during the semester
