We are seeking an exceptional Senior Crypto Investment Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Crypto Portfolio Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting all stages of the portfolio management cycle. What you will do
- Conduct fundamental research on crypto protocols with a focus on the decentralised finance sector.
- Take ownership of an assigned coverage list of coins, use all sources available to formulate views on assets, maintain ratings and monitor the day-to-day developments of each protocol.
- Support all facets of the portfolio management process including the execution of trades, monitoring and evaluation of performance, reporting and client engagement.
- Engage proactively in refining our investment process through continuous improvement initiatives and stay abreast of industry best practices.
- Establish thought leadership through the creation of social media content and engage consistently to build a strong presence as a thought leader in your sector coverage area.
Who you are
- 5 – 8 years of work experience in crypto asset research, portfolio management, technology or financials equity research, venture capital or similar.
- University graduate with an appropriate undergraduate degree, preferably finance or computer science. The CFA designation will be highly regarded.
- You have a deep interest in and knowledge of crypto protocols and markets.
- You have the enthusiasm to be dynamic and learn in a rapidly emerging industry.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Strong work ethics, reliable and accountable and strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to high ethical standard and to act with integrity and professionalism.
Please note: This role is predominantly Sydney based, however some travel to Melbourne will be required from time to time.
