Our client, a leading media printing centre located in Yandina on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join their reliability team. As a crucial member of the team, you'll be responsible for keeping the lights on (literally!) and ensuring their printing operations run seamlessly.
This role is a rotating day and night roster including weekends.
What you'll do:
- Perform general day-to-day Electrical Maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Maintain and repair plant and equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Respond to and troubleshoot production-related breakdowns of high-speed machinery, minimizing downtime.
- Contribute to preventative maintenance programs to ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture
Requirements
- Current Australian Electrical Licence
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Commitment to safety and quality of work
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
