About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Music and Singing Program Coordinator to lead our innovative music program for primary school children. This exciting role involves designing and conducting engaging music classes for groups of 20-30 children, aged 5-12 years, for 60-90 minutes each week. Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive music and singing curriculum tailored to children of varied ages and skill levels.
- Class Management: Conduct weekly classes that engage and inspire children, incorporating singing, musical games, and basic music theory.
- MuseumClasses must be designed to accommodate the diverse learning needs and paces of a multi-age classroom.
- Performance Coordination: Organize and direct end-of-term performances, showcasing the talents and progress of students.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging creativity and a love for music among students.
- Parental Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and upcoming program events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or related field.
- Proven experience in teaching music to young children, with a strong understanding of age-appropriate pedagogical approaches.
