About the opportunity
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of early years education infrastructure within one of Victoria’s most rapidly expanding municipalities. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement Cardinia Shire’s Kindergarten InfrastructureService Plan.
You will make an impact by
- Assisting in the preparation of relevant funding and policy submissions and reporting relating to funding bodies, grants, and agreements.
- Supporting the development of the planning, feasibility, scoping, design, and costing of priority capital projects related to Kindergarten and Community Infrastructure.
- Analysing and monitoring the performance of Council’s community services to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Bringing and testing new thinking and methodologies to Kindergarten infrastructure planning, services delivery, activation, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Assisting in the evaluation and reflective practice of the effectiveness of community services and infrastructure delivery, services, and associated projects.
What you will bring
- Experience in Infrastructure planning, community services planning, or social planning. Proven record of successfully leading kindergarten and/or community infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including demographic analysis, needs analysis, and community engagement practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local government and inter-governmental financial relationships/practices/procedures with reference to capital expenditure and funding applications.
- Current Victorian Drivers License and a current Working with Children’s Check.
