The Strategic Planning Officerplays a leadership role in addressing our strategic challenges and approaches to leverage opportunity, manage risk and deliver the strategic ambitions of North East Water.
This role is a full-time opportunity until April 2025, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options.
Key Role Responsibilities
• Provides expertise and project management in Strategic Planning across a range of topics, for example urban water security, environment, land use, climate change, circular economy, integrated water management, liveability, and strategic partnerships.
• Leads the development, implementation and maintenance of key corporation strategies and plans such as the Urban Water Strategy, Corporate Strategy 2040, IWM plans, Strategic Land Use Plan and Climate Change Plans.
• Provides Strategic Planning support throughout the business to ensure broader organisational objectives are being met.
• Leads collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver initiatives focused on climate change, IWM and liveability.
