Form of workBridgeport Hotel is seeking casual Kitchen Hands to join our expanding Kitchen team.
Supporting our chefs and the team through a hands-on approach to the food service within the kitchen at all times.
They ensure food services items are cleaned in a timely manner to the highest standard and maintains a clean and safe work environment in the kitchen.
Duties Include:
- General cleaning duties within the kitchen including the cleaning of cooking and general utensils
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking
- General pantry duties
- Ensuring the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and utensils up to and line with HACCP standards
- Develop good relationships and effective communication with all chefs and front of house staff
About you:
- 7 Day Availability - Please note this is a requirement
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to show initiative and follow appropriate procedures.
Desirable Skills/Knowledge:
- Previous experience working in a commercial Kitchen desirable but not as essential as a great attitude and willingness to work.
