Mad Mex is looking for a hardworking and passionate Grill Cookto be part of our team at our restaurant located in Westfield Tuggerah.
About the Role
The Grill Cook is responsible for the operation of the kitchen section of a Mad Mex Restaurant and prepares our fresh, simple Mexican food each day with care and pride whilst strictly adhering to our recipes, procedures, and food safety standards. Full training is provided.
On offer are FULL-TIME hours, working either a five-day week (Tuesday to Saturday) or possibly a 4-day week (Wednesday to Saturday) for the right candidate.
About You
You don't need to be a Michelin-starred chef... You just need to be comfortable in a kitchen, enjoy working with food, and have high personal standards. The role would definitely suit someone with solid experience as a Kitchen Hand, a short-order cook, or a Line Chef... but if you also happen to have 5-star dining experience then we'd still be happy to talk to you!
It's also expected that you are RELIABLE, have an easy-going personality, a respectful approach to your co-workers, and a genuine appreciation for our customers.
