Bethanie Dalyellup (located near BUNBURY) is our new aged care home, it has 6 themed houses and facilities including a café, bar and hair salon in a beautifully appointed, two-storey contemporary aged care home with 120 beds.
We are currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join the hospitality team on a casual basis. We have morning & afternoon shifts available across Monday to Sunday, working flexible days.
To be successful in this role, you will have existing knowledge of various food preparation methods as well as food safety and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is a component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ensuring required ingredients are available daily.
Assisting is preparation, apportioning and serving of meals.
Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery
About You:
Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Kitchen Hand ideally in an aged care, hospital, or similar environment.
Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to uphold the vision, mission, and values of The Bethanie Group
A current police clearance or willingness to get one.
