About the Role
We are on the lookout for Kitchen Hands to join the teams at Manly Pavilion and The Boathouse Shelly Beach. As a BHG Kitchen Hand, you will report to the Head Chef and ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times within the kitchen. You will also:
- Assist in the preparation of food as directed by the chefs in the kitchen;
- Be accountable for cleaning equipment used in the kitchen in serviceable and operating condition;
- Assist in the execution of effective stock management including but not limited to; receipt, storing (including best practice cellar management) and stock rotation.
About You
To be the perfect addition to our team you will ideally have some prior experience in a hospitality environment or even more advantageous a kitchen, but a positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn and get the job done is a must. You will also:
- Be friendly, approachable and genuine;
- Be a team player with a collaborative working style;
- Show a high level of attention to detail.
