An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, go-getter to join our Whiddon Casino team as our amazing Head Chef. This role is suited for an experienced Chef/Foodie who is obsessed with service and is an ideal position for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career. We are looking for an innovative and logical thinker who loves to drive teams and culture.
Responsibility spans across our Whiddon Casino home with a huge focus on staff engagement, resident satisfaction and just generally being awesome.
Based at our Casino home and working with the most innovative, forward thinking and no fuss hospitality team in Aged Care. Come and experience what Aged Care can really be like.
YOUR DUTIES
- Being Awesome and Creating WOW factor
- Working with a dedicated team and mentoring all catering team members
- Creating energy and driving quality and excellence
- Implementing innovative thinking and products
- Working with a team of experienced, energetic (A little crazy) - Hospitality Management Team from support services
- Being fun, light hearted but professional and passionate
- Support like crazy and be the "go to" person in your region for all things food
- Training and demonstrations with your team and residents
- Food safety and compliance
- Show them how to make it different and keep the buzz going
- Giving things a go and being positive
- Spend time with your team and create an environment of open communication
