About this opportunity:
We are looking for an emerging leader to join our world-class Culinary brigade as our full-time Kitchen Logistics Team Leader. Reporting directly to our Kitchen Logistics Manager, you will work alongside the wider Kitchen team who thrive on a positive culture, innovation and the delivery of our extraordinary events!
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude looking to develop their career in the conference & events industry. Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with overseeing staff management within the Kitchen Logistics department;
- Delivering high standard preparation for all off our events, and must be able to manage staff in several sections simultaneously;
- Assist in coordinating and delivering all arrangements related to supporting the kitchen brigade and front of house teams;
- Assisting in training, leading and inspiring the Logistics team members;
- Assisting with the provision of adequate and clean operating equipment to meet the daily requirements of the kitchen and outlets;
- Maintaining our high standards of food quality and ISO 22000 food safety compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Working rights in Australia;
- Kitchen, food handling and/or logistics experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment is desirable;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction;
- Planning, organising and time management skills;
- Ability to work under some pressure and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work event based hours which include evenings and weekends
