The Role
The purpose of this role is to satisfactorily perform duties under the direction of the Production Manager in the preparation, manual assembly and/or packaging of sandwiches, wraps and other like products in a chilled environment and undertake other duties within the production department as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble goods as per specification
- Carry out duties as directed by Team Leader and / or Production Manager
- Report any problems to Process Team Leader and/ or Production Manager
- Working as part of a team to ensure only high quality product gets delivered to the customer
- Work within HACCP guidelines
- Prep ingredients for the days production requirements
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Must be reliable, punctual and have strong work ethic
- Must have fast-paced food processing experience
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
- Must be comfortable with repetitive movements
- Good knowledge of safe work practices
- Attention to detail
- Must have your own reliable transport
