The Role:
We are seeking experienced Full Time Control Room Guard who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and are passionate about the security industry with a strong desire to make a difference. This position is to commence ASAP and is paid based on Security Service Award,Grade 4.
You will be responsible for providing security service at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, supporting all the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security for the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrated pro-active security awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and respond to situations of risk or hazard.
- Access control and monitoring CCTV, Alarm systems
- Incident report writing and data logs.
- Site safety and monitoring
- Interact with various stakeholders including client representatives, building and facilities management, contractors, emergency services, employees, and the general public.
- Monitor Access control, alarm control, and CCTV to detect any security breaches or incidents.
- Risk identification, incident response, and issue resolution.
- Incident report writing and data logs.
- Responding to alarm activations and managing access control systems
- Maintaining data and security records including communication logs and comprehensive reports.
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
- Valid Security License including Monitoring & Crowd Control
- Current First Aid certificate including CPR
- Impeccable presentation
- Ability to complete rotational, 12-hour shift work including weekends and public holidays. Four shifts on, four shifts off
- Great communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience in CCTV systems, live tracking, exporting, and evidence gathering. Milestone system is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of BMS & EWIS systems.
- Retail environment experience is essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Have strong problem solving skills
