About the role We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Performing all tasks relevant to a particular shift, including specimen reception, registration and data entry Managing all aspects of slide and block storage and filing, as well as slide printing Equipment cleaning, including biohazard cabinet, centrifuge & work benches Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures Complying with the Occupational Health & Safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace; and Satisfying the requirements of customers, both internal and external, through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels
