AddressSun Metals currently has an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician suitably experienced in chemical analysis to join our laboratory team. The Sun Metals' laboratory assists operating departments to control process and product quality.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Analysing assigned samples using wet chemical techniques and instruments;
- Checking, recording and reporting of test results;
- Care of laboratory equipment; and
- Strictly following Laboratory Safety Procedures.
The successful applicant will meet the following selection criteria:
- Working knowledge of chemistry;
- Experience in chemical analysis;
- Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills appropriate to the workplace; and
- Able and willing to learn.
