About the Department An agency charged with the responsibility for protecting Australia's natural resources and to develop and implement policies and programs that ensure Australia's agricultural, fisheries, food and forestry industries remained competitive, profitable and sustainable. About the Role The position will be in the Modern Technologies and Diagnostic Tools program. This position requires the candidate to use their Learning and Development (L&D) and project management background to design, develop and implement a Training Program to support functions delivered by the Science and Surveillance Group in collaboration with laboratory users and management. The initial focus will be on diagnostics with the option for future program expansion to surveillance activities. This includes: Identifying training needs across all scientific discipline areas and defining learning objectives. Designing a Training Program that meets department policy, program objectives, quality system requirements and diagnostic capability needs.
