The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished Training Program Developer to join our client on a 14-month labour-hire basis. In this pivotal role, you will use your Learning and Development (L&D) and project management background to design, develop and implement a Training Program to support functions delivered by the Science and Surveillance Group in collaboration with laboratory users and management. The role involves travel Australia wide for a few days every month or two to attend national strategic meetings. The Role
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying training needs across business areas and defining learning objectives
Designing and developing an implementation plan and a Training Program which meets department policy, budget, delivery times, etc
Liaising with subject matter experts to coordinate the development of training documentation
Validating training material against workplace needs
Reviewing existing training materials to design new training products and courses
The Ideal Person
The ideal candidate will possess:
Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing effective Training Programs, preferably in a laboratory setting with regulatory functions
Highly developed knowledge of adult learning principles, frameworks and contemporary L&D practice and theory
Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and develop clear, concise and logically sequenced learning and development programs
Experience in collaborating and engaging with stakeholders at all levels and supporting them through change
Salary / Rate
$70 – $90/ hour + super
