Labour Standards Manager, you are the conduit for engineered
Labour Standards (core labour model) and the continuous integrity of Workforce Management Systems' rostering demand lines as business initiatives are developed and deployed.Combining knowledge of industrial engineering, WorkForce planning tools and store operational processes, you will partner and lead the delivery of constantly innovating
Labour Standards in set divisions for our Supermarket/Metro teams nationally. This entails consulting and guiding end-users on process improvement opportunities and senior management on projects and outcomes. You will be an SME for multiple stakeholders and drive productivity agenda and the continuous improvement of the overall RT3 Labour Model solution.
What you will doYou report to the Head of
Labour Standards and support the ongoing reiteration of Woolworth's labour model and workforce management solutions.
- Manage the development and delivery of Labour Standards modelling, including the alteration of current Labour Standards due to operational needs and simplification of processes
- Lead regular departmental reviews, including a small team of contractors/Workforce Management Specialists/Analysts
- Collaborate with the National Productivity Systems team on developments and support reviews, development, and land change as required
- Educate teams on the Labour Standards model and project life cycles to support and deliver a seamless change experience for customers and team
- Support a network of over 1000 supermarkets to in planning labour requirements to serve our customers
What you will bringTo be successful in this role, a good understanding of
Labour Standards is key, as well as:
- Experience within a workforce management systems environment/ Industrial engineering gained across large-scale industries/retailers
- Proficient in WorkForce Planning solutions systems (Kronos, Microsoft XL, SAP) and engineered Labour Standards techniques (e.g. MOST)
- Proven success in developing and delivering change and communicating the change is a clear and simple way
- Ability to partner and collaborate with key stakeholders, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability of facilitation and presentation skills and influencing skills to support in navigating complex issues and new practices
