Location: Perth, Adelaide or Melbourne
Position Summary:
Lead the WA/SA Field Service Team and the Industrial calibration laboratories to complete service strategy and plans / selling service across divisional and regional responsibilities to meet AOP targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, empower, develop and mentor a team of Field Service Engineers (FSE) across specific range of products / market segments within the LED and SSPG portfolios
- Develop commercial strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue targets as set in the Annual Operating Plan
- Lead end to end service business and drive a customer centric culture
- Build capability and technical expertise within team through comprehensive development plan
- Drive ongoing process improvement projects and overall culture
- Matrix responsibility across division and within specific states / regions
- Ensure cross functional training is run through the FSE
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Technical Service management experience and/or Commercial management experience
- driving business growth and revenue targets through the implementation and execution of tactical actions to achieve required objectives
- Demonstrate commercial competence and understanding of portfolio management, customer segmentation and marketing levies, including digital channels
- Team management experience, with track record in building, developing and mentoring an impactful team to deliver against objectives
- Experience leading change, from a process and people perspective
- Track record of operating within an environment passionate about commitment and high levels of intensity
- Business insight of industry sector, the regional market, its key trends and potential challenges (preferred)
- Experience in working in a global and matrix organisation with a decentralised model (preferred)
- Experience acquired across several companies (preferred)
- Tertiary qualification and/or trade qualification, preferably in scientific, engineering and/or business field.
