Who are we looking for?
Our landscape architecture team has a focus on delivering innovative landscape designs which are site sensitive, site-specific and create a sense of place which is in line with the client and community's needs. The GHD landscape architecture team are focused on green infrastructure, educational, community based and major infrastructure projects, and are passionate about improving the built environment.
Strong demand for our services has created an exciting opportunity for two mid-level Landscape Architect's to join our well-established Landscape Architecture Team. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects from community-based landscape projects to large scale public realm and public open space design, along with trail design and water quality improvement projects. We also have a strong portfolio of major transport infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously when required and also closely with senior team members and be experienced in managing and mentoring junior members of the team. Our culture is one of collaboration and consultation, with an open dialogue and flat organization structure. You will be required to prepare and create innovative landscape master-plans, concept plans, detailed design and construction documentation for multidisciplinary and landscape only projects.

What would you bring to the team?

• Degree qualified coupled with 5-10 years' experience in a variety of landscape architecture and urban design projects, with a minimum of two years' experience in Melbourne.
• A solid understanding of Victorian environmental conditions and appropriate plant materials.
• Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant CAD based programs; GHD is a Revit preferred office, however a desire to learn this program is also desired.
• The ability and desire to develop and maintain relationships with clients, both internal and external.
• Proven project management skills on a range of project sizes.
• A keen attitude, be self-motivated and enthusiastic, and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Be engaged with the profession, and passionate about landscape architecture and it's contribution to the built environment.
