AddressPenfold Projects are on the hunt for more staff on the South East Brisbane!
To be successful you must have the following:
- A current driver’s license
- Access to a ute or vehicle (preferable)
- Experience in landscaping construction industry (highly regarded)
- A current Construction White Card
- Significate landscaping/construction experience
Tasks and Responsibilities (Leading Hands):
- 3+ years in Landscape/Construction industry or industry similar (highly regarded)
- Able to deliver both hard and soft landscaping works according to drawings, scope and specifications
- Efficient, fit for purpose co-ordination of materials/deliveries/mobile plant/sub-contractors and staff
- General day-to-day management of a job site including managing a team
- Working cohesively with your Site Supervisor.
- Measuring, calculating quantities and ordering of any additional materials as required
- Reading and understanding of plans, drawings, scope and specifications
- Experience in implementing Workplace Health & Safety procedures and policies, including following SWMS, conducting Toolbox Talks etc
- Communicate effectively & efficiently in a professional manner with builders/clients and to co-ordinate works with other trades
- Be pro-active to eliminate or reduce hazardous work conditions and reviewing work methods as required
Tasks and Responsibilities (Apprentices):
The successful applicants will require a long term commitment to their training and be able to demonstrate the following;
- Positive attitude + confidence in their ability
- Motivated + enthusiastic about the landscape industry
- Willingness + eagerness to work
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest to learn and take direction
All applicants will need to hold a current drivers license, have reliable transport, be punctual and well presented, demonstrate a rock solid work ethic and continually seek excellence in delivering a project.
