Exciting opportunities await as we expand our operations with a cutting-edge Laser Team in a new facility. We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to join us on a permanent basis. If you're a pro at communication and organization, with a knack for multitasking, we want you!
As part of our Laser Team, you'll dive into various tasks including stock control, picking and packing, and parts allocation. Attention to detail is key, along with the ability to decipher engineering drawings.
Here's what we're looking for:
- Proactive mechanical aptitude, with a commonsense approach
- A background in software programming
- Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written
- Top-notch organizational prowess and time management
- Self-motivation and a can-do attitude
- Familiarity with production environments
- A knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to follow instructions with a smile.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Capability to read engineering drawings and perform dimensional checks.
- The ability to attend site over a 24/7 period as this is how our machines run!
While not mandatory, having the following would be a plus:
- Forklift driver's license.
- CAD qualification
- Cert III in a trade – ie: Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of bills of materials
- Experience with ERP and Production Control/Warehouse management systems like Syspro/Trutops Fab or BOOST (Trumpf)
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Word and Excel
