We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laundry Care Assistant to join our residential services team at mecwacare Wahroonga House, a 90-bed facility. This role will be providing efficient and effective cleaning services, and ensuring residents live in a clean and hygienic environment.
What you bring:
- Certificate III in Laundry Operations (highly regarded)
- Experience in laundry operations
- Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to comply with laundry standards and procedures
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control processes
- Knowledge of OH&S and manual handling
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors
- Pro-active and dedicated approach to position
