The Role
The McCullough Robertson Corporate team are entrenched in the industries our clients are in and take great pride in what can be achieved when you combine deep sector knowledge with commerciality and technical excellence. We are passionate champions of our clients as we work together with our clients to create innovative solutions and outcomes worth celebrating.
Our team advises and assists blue chip companies and multinationals, as well as fund managers, financial sponsors, stockbrokers, corporate advisors, start ups and other Australian Financial Services licensees across Australia and internationally in connection with mergers and acquisitions, major commercial transactions, general corporate advisory, AFS licensing, fund establishment and operation, compliance and risk, fundraising, and other regulatory matters.
Experience
You will be a Lawyer (4-6 years PQE), with experience in Financial Services as well as general corporate advisory and/or M&A. In addition, you will be a self starter and have strong drafting skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm to play a part in the continued growth our practice as well as mentoring the more junior members of the team. Whilst based in Sydney, the candidate will work closely with our Brisbane office.
An excellent client service ethic, desire to learn and to provide technically excellent advice is essential. You will be a strong communicator and must be able to work well both autonomously and as a part of our close-knit team.
