This role is based in Perth CBD
Key Responsibilities:
•Undertaking financial modelling and valuation activities.
•Keeping track of industry dynamics, regulatory changes, and market trends that may impact M&A activity. This involves monitoring industry publications, attending conferences, and networking with industry experts.
•Researching and monitoring merger and acquisition activity in the sector.
•Leading aspects of transactions and supporting due diligence activities.
•Collaborating with stakeholders to prepare investment decision papers and reports. This includes summarizing key findings, presenting analysis and recommendations, and providing supporting data and documentation.
•Participating in investment decision steering committees.
•Assisting in the integration of acquisitions.
•Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners. This involves effectively communicating financial insights, providing strategic recommendations, and addressing stakeholder concerns.
•Developing and maintaining financial models to assess the financial performance and valuation of potential investment opportunities. This involves Analysing historical financial data, projecting future cash flows, and applying appropriate valuation methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary degree in a business/finance-related field.
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Proven due diligence and/or valuation skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
