We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Projects & Government Commercial practice. Based in Canberra, you will work directly with Ben Nicholls.
About the team and the work
- This role will see you working on large commercial projects for a range of commonwealth clients, relating to information technology, platforms, and services
- Get exposure in end-to-end transactions, including requests for tenders, outsourcing, strategic procurement and sourcing, technology contracting, vendor management, data protection and privacy
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit team with a supportive culture and an actual desire to promote flexible working
- Given the exceptional client relationships this team has you will have the opportunity to develop your skills working onsite with clients due to regular secondment opportunities

About you
- You will have 2-3 years' experience gained in a well-regarded mid to top-tier firm or in-house
- Experience in technology, data protection and privacy, or government technology contracts is desirable
- Applicants with primarily commercial contracts / procurement experience are also encouraged to apply
- You must be an Australian citizen for this role as you need to be eligible for baseline (security) clearance
