AddressBPA Children's Services (BPA) is a not-for-profit organisation that manages Kindergartens and Child Care centres in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. We're currently seeking a Long Day Care (Diploma Not In Charge) Educator to support the delivery of a quality education program at Phoenix Street Children's Centre located in Sunshine North.

76 hours
9 Day Fortnight
The position reports to the Room Leader and Centre Co-Ordinator. You will be required to work co-operatively as a member of a team, and assist with the provision of a high quality educational program for the children based upon the principals and practices of both the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines and the provision of a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for the children and families attending the service as directed by the Room Leader.
- Contribute to the planning cycle, by documenting spontaneous learning experiences and modifications.
- Assist in working with individual and small groups of children.
- Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of the children as required.
- Ensure that any child or group of children are adequately supervised and that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect them from any hazard.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid certification.
