About the Role
Sime Darby is on the hunt for a Business Process Analyst to join our award-winning team. This is a 2-year fixed term, Monday to Friday role with a possibility for extension for the right applicant.
The main purpose of this role is to support the Finance team across APAC in continuing their journey of innovation and process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Risk & Compliance: continuous engagement with IT to make sure that systems governance is in place and improved.
- Data & analytics: project work with IT to migrate Finance to a new data warehouse platform.
- Audit: support the Finance team in their financial audit where systems controls are involved.
- Automation: support Finance initiatives in accordance with policy and governance.
- Strategy: review and amend the Finance technology strategy based on latest organisation needs.
You should therefore have a solid understanding of ERP processes / configuration and industry best practices, along with solid consulting skills. This will enable the development and implementation of best practice and simplified processes required to support our operations.
You will be proficient in building relationships and trust to gain an in-depth knowledge of the operations business objectives and processes to ensure success in the role.

About You
A successful teammate will have:
- A degree in business/accounting or equivalent
- Professional accounting firm audit experience
- Experience in driving projects and system implementations
- 12+ years of working experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic would be advantageous.
