Senior/Lead Civil Designer - Major Mining project- WFH - Perth based
Our client, a global engineering consultancy is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer to join their team for a major Mining project. They currently have a strong project portfolio in the Mining, Energy, and Water sectors.

The role
In this role you will support the more junior members on the Design team. You will also deliver Civil Design services that will meet the client's requirements within the project budget and timeline.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope
- Perform technical supervision of the more junior engineers
- Support a team of engineers and designers in the delivery of all civil design for a mining infrastructure
- Provide cross disciplinary coordination to ensure the successful delivery of client requirements
- Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow the required checking procedures
- Make sure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes
- Provide support and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities (e.g. write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders)
Qualifications
- 10 years combined experience in similar infrastructure roles(s) is required
- Experience with the commissioning stage and NPI services of a mine infrastructure is highly desirable
- Relevant software experience such as 12D, Microstation, AutoCad is required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service
- Highly effective technical and practical designer skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work
