Reporting to the Project Manager, Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to for an exciting WA based lithium project.
The tasks you'll perform
- Lead the Commissioning mechanical team to ensure that testing & commissioning activities are managed and executed within both budgetary and schedule constraints, and in line with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Lead the Commissioning mechanical team to ensure ongoing identification, review and acceptance of handover works, and to contribute to the effective control of Completion risks.
- Coordinate mechanical commissioning preparation and activities for all Mechanical & Piping work (must have rotating equipment experience)
- Minimum 10 years' postgraduate experience in a similar position.
- Minimum 5 years' practical experience working in construction/commissioning and/or completions in an EPCM setting
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Proficient understanding of business acumen with the ability to adapt to different business environments.
- High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of process design.
- Detailed knowledge of safety requirements, tagging and isolation procedures and emergency actions for work at process plants.
