Riverwalk Robina Early Learning Centre is a hidden gem with a friendly, family-centric Early Learning Centre that is seeking a Lead Educator to join their amazing team.

Riverwalk Robina is looking to continually improve the offerings to the children and their families by sparking our little Riverwalk adventurer's curiosity as they explore, play and learn each day in our beautiful nature based environment.

About the role:

• Take a lead role in giving and modeling a holistic approach to the education, development, and care of children in our care with a focus on the physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing of the child to inspire children's curiosity to create and explore their environment.
• Observe children in your care guiding, encouraging, and inspiring learning and self-awareness, documenting their experiences, and evaluating their daily care routines.
• Build caring and respectful relationships with the children in your care to meet their needs by maintaining routines and structures 
• Prioritise an environment that is; safety first for children in our care and fellow team members, aesthetically uplifting and culturally welcoming, and positive.
• Regularly communicate and leverage the skills of your team of Educators, Educational Leaders, and other Educational specialists about your learning experiences and developing skill sets.

About you

• You are passionate and committed to seeing every child achieve their full potential.
• You have a solid and demonstrable understanding of Child Safety and a Child Safe Organisation
• You hold an ACECQA Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services or a Degree in Early Childhood Education
• You have previous experience as a Lead Educator.
• You have good practical knowledge of EYLF 2.0
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Have experience with online documentation.
• Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Current Working with Children Check/ Blue Card/Exemption Card Status
