About Our Centre:
We are a BRAND NEW purpose built centre looking at building a supportive family to care and nurture little people. The centre has truly considered the design and function of the environments, limiting classroom sizes to no more that 20 children a day and creating outdoor environments which challenge and appeal to both children and parents alike.
Our centre has separate spaces for admin, management, parent interactions, Study/Programming and meal breaks, to ensure their is a space to engage with the team, children and families, and also space to retreat, recharge and focus as needed.
Your Qualifications & experience- successful applicants will posses:
- Early Childhood Teaching degree, (or equivalent) OR Diploma ( Enrolled students and new graduates welcome).
- Ability to work within a team and value contributions from all levels sharing the workload across a range of qualifications and skill sets.
- A teaching philosophy that is child centred, relationship focused and values the joy of play and enjoyment each day.
- A willingness to learn new skills, try new things and grow with the team as we strive for excellence.
- Sound Knowledge of NQS and EYLF and an ability to articulate their implications for everyday practice and interactions.
Tasks & responsibilities of the role:
- Work as part of a leadership team to guide Quality educational practice in your room and beyond.
- Build on your own leadership skills and professional development.
- Work with a wide range of professionals to improve outcomes for children.
- Work with the leadership group to Mentor and guide a team of educators to drive quality standards.
- Implement play based, child focused learning programs with a focus on responsive and nurturing relationships.
- Create engaging, interesting and relevant learning spaces and play invitations to engage children.
- Act as a resource and support for families, informing them about their Childs journey and help to ease the parental burden and stressors.
- Help us design and engage the team in Improvement challenges and rewards systems to keep resources and continued improvement active in our everyday practice.
