Project Support Officer,
Lead Institute of Higher Education looking Project Support Officer in our institution, your role involves providing essential administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of projects within LIHE. Here’s an overview of what this position typically entails:
Responsibilities:
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes and action items.
- Assist in preparing progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing project documentation, including proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain project files, records, and databases.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project-related events.
Logistical Coordination:
- Manage procurement of materials and services needed for project activities.
- Ensure availability of necessary equipment and resources for project implementation.
Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders.
- Update project schedules and timelines.
- Monitor progress and assist in tracking milestones and deliverables.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify and report potential project risks or issues.
- Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in resolving project-related problems and conflicts.
Skills and Experiences
The successful candidate will have a high level of computer literacy, excellent interpersonal skills including experience liaising with a diverse range of individuals, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collate information from multiple sources to translate into summary reports and submissions for a wide range of stakeholders.
About you:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in any field.
- Possess a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation processes in the VET and Higher Education sectors.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Exhibit exceptional written communication skills.
- Be highly proficient in computer literacy, particularly with advanced experience in Microsoft Word.
- Showcase outstanding attention to detail.
