Process Lead Engineer

The Opportunity

In this key role you will oversee the process design of large-scale water treatment plant projects, water, wastewater, desal and water reuse, ensuring value engineered but robust solutions are integrated into conceptual, sustainable and detailed designs.

Your role will also involve proposing innovative solutions, presenting findings internally and externally, and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors.

You will interact with teams responsible for Civil & Structural, M&E design, to coordinating activities and sure the process integrity and performance is maintained. Additionally, you will contribute to project delivery by overseeing activities, managing project documentation, ensuring equipment selection aligns with specifications, and resolving project issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the process design for large-scale water treatment plant projects, ensuring value engineered but robust solutions are integrated into conceptual, sustainable and detailed designs.
• Coordinate activities with all other technical disciples and sure the process integrity and performance is maintained.
• Develop technical calculations, documents, and schedules, process models such as Biowin, membrane projections, procurement specifications, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Contribute to project delivery and commissioning phase activities by providing process inputs as and when required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Previous experience working in a similar role in a large matrix environment.
• Hands on experience in the process design of Water Treatment processes is essential.
• Previous experience in a design team or similar position.
• Capabilities of integrated working in engineering design development and detail, including the preparation of process calculations, specifications, drawings in a digital engineering environment (e.g. BIM).
