The Role
As a Lead Product Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of product development, while ensuring we stay member-focused. As an early member of the team, you’ll own decision making and problem solving on some of our most challenging problems in Healthcare and HR Tech.
You will own the technical architecture, find out ways to automate workflows to bring out efficiencies and mentor engineers to do their best. If you are someone who likes to work with an early stage startup that is building a SAAS product from scratch and solving customers' challenges, this is an amazing opportunity.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with leadership, product, and customers: You’ll be working directly with our CTO and other members of our executive team to scope out new opportunities for the business. Work with the product team to understand the long-term product strategy and broader technical architecture, and with customers to understand their needs and how best to address them in a scalable way.
- Own, build, scale, and evolve services, components, and data pipelines used by every customer, therapist, and user. You get to see a number of different product surface areas (provider portal, member experience, infrastructure, and enabling operations) in addition to working full-stack (Flask/Python on the backend, React/TypeScript on the frontend, infrastructure on GCP).
- Lead architecture design and set standards for future growth: Research and identify industry best practices and state-of-the-art tools to leverage. Design new systems to support the necessary outcomes in a secure, durable, performant, and maintainable way.
Who You Are:
- You resonate with our mission to promote greater mental wellbeing in workplaces.
- You have 6+ years of experience in software design and development.

- You have worked in a fast-paced environment.
