Asia-Pacific Latin-America (APLA) is a multi-cultural, growth Geography (Geo) that is seeking a Logistics Centre Support Manager with the functional and technical expertise that can contribute to a team of technical business systems analysts and the delivery and support of supply chain technology solutions into the Pacific markets.
As a Logistics Centre Support Manager, you will become the expert of your local market and business needs and be able to translate those insights into technical requirements for both local and global technology solutions working closely with the geo technical product and engineering teams.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As the face of operations and logistics technology, you’ll be closely working with operations and logistics business partners and provide technical insights by evaluating Pacific business needs.
You will be mainly responsible for delivery and operationalisation of supply chain technology solutions and management of application catalogue and lifecycle in the space of supply chain.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
In this role you will interact with key business stakeholders in the operations and logistics space. In partnership with your team of business system analysts, you will work with other technology organisations in Pacific, the greater geography and global throughout the product lifecycle. In this role you will be reporting to the Technology Operations Functions Director.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Naturally you will have excellent communication skills and be highly analytical and have the ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into technical solutions. Other key criteria are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area
- 5+ years of supply chain technology experience
- Experience with ownership of infrastructure
- Cross-functional project experience (such as SAP, Warehouse Management System, and other supply chain related projects)
- Business level English
- Positive and open minded
