Leadership Development Program Specialist
About the Role
As the Leadership Development Program Specialist at Youi, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and overseeing our Leadership Development Programs and initiatives. This position is pivotal in driving the growth and success of leaders across Youi, fostering their development, and enhancing performance.
While a senior role, this position remains an individual contributor role for an experienced Leadership Development specialist. With established foundations in place, including two leadership pipeline programs, we're seeking someone to refine and elevate these initiatives, contributing to our overarching strategy.
To excel in this role, you'll need robust facilitation abilities, adept stakeholder engagement skills, proficiency in content design, commercial acumen, and a willingness to employ diverse methodologies beyond traditional classroom settings. Adaptability is key as you navigate interactions from frontline employees to senior leadership and executives.
Key priorities:
- Collaborate with senior leaders and P&C stakeholders to assess organisational leadership needs and design Development Programs aligned with Youi's core capabilities.
- Curate content for leadership initiatives, integrating best practices and innovative methodologies.
- Lead execution of Youi's leadership program, facilitating engaging learning experiences, providing coaching and ensuring smooth end-to-end coordination.
- Deliver leadership assessments, debriefs and development planning, supporting leaders to access impactful learning experiences.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of Leadership Development Programs and implement improvements to increase impact.
- Analyse data to inform program enhancements and prepare reports on outcomes.
Ways of Working
Ideally, we prefer someone at our Sunshine Coast headquarters, but we're also considering Fortitude Valley. Our hybrid model requires office presence Tuesday to Thursday at either location, with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays & Fridays. If in Brisbane, regular commuting to headquarters is necessary due to most facilitation occurring there.
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- A degree or equivalent experience in Adult Education, Learning & Development, Organisational Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in Leadership Development, talent management, or organisational development roles (5+ years is a general indicator).
- Proven track record in designing and implementing successful leadership programs within organisational contexts.
- Strong facilitation and presentation abilities, demonstrated across diverse operational and professional audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and collaborating effectively across all organisational levels.
- Ability to translate organisational goals and objectives into actionable development initiatives.
- Proficiency in program evaluation techniques and data analysis methodologies.
- Certifications in leadership assessments and tools are highly valued.
