Leadership Trainer

Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will play a significant part in shaping a dynamic leadership culture within the organization. You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the design and customization of our internal leadership programs, to ensure they are highly relevant to our operational leaders. Your responsibilities will include conducting face-to-face training sessions for leaders at various levels, activity-based learning principles, providing personalized coaching post-face-to-face training sessions, and ensuring the practical application of back in the workplace. You will work closely with executives, managers, and supervisors, impacting leaders as part of our transformative programs launching in 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging leadership training programs for a diverse range of leaders.
- Facilitate interactive face-to-face training sessions using adult learning principles.
- Provide personalized one-on-one coaching to support individual leadership growth for program participants.
- Assign and oversee workplace application tasks, ensuring implementation and accountability.
- Stay updated on the latest leadership trends and innovations, integrating them into our programs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with site leaders and executives, guiding their leadership journeys.
- Conduct insightful DiSC profile debriefs with leaders, integrating DiSC throughout the development journey.
- Prepare progress reports, referencing improvements using Kirkpatrick’s 4 levels of evaluation.
- Work with our external curriculum developers to continuously enhance learning materials to ensure effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Psychology, Organizational Development).
- DiSC accreditation is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Leadership facilitation training, assessment, and Coaching, with expertise in leadership development.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based leadership theories and best practices.
- Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Certification in leadership development or coaching (e.g., CPLP, ICF, CTDP) is an asset
- Certificate IV in TAE – not essential but valued
